Holiday Hours 2012

It’s holiday season! Our hours will remain daily @ 5 with a couple of exceptions….

Normal hours on Christmas Eve, with an optional prix fixe menu in addition to the regular dinner menu.

Christmas Day, we are offering brunch from 10 – 3. Closed for dinner.

New Year’s Eve, we are offering a prix fixe menu with two seatings… make reservations on our home page or call 503.227.2669 for details.

As always, our menus are inspired by what is available by our local purveyors, which can change frequently. We will try to have any special event menus ready ahead of time, but please be aware that everything is subject to change based on product availability. Thank you!

New Hours, New Menu Format!

We’ve taken the plunge… we are now OPEN DAILY 5-11!!

We begin serving dinner every day at 5 pm. Our Joyeux menu is available beginning at 9pm Tues – Sat, or all day Sunday & Monday.

At the bar only, we are also now serving “le Snack” menu, for those of you who just want a drink and a little snack… see our menus tab for more info.

Our dinner menu is also looking a little different these days… we typically print new menus weekly, or every two weeks. However, there are always the favorites, or standard menu items, that remain. Now, you can find those favorites on the separate “menu classique”, or look over our “menu du semaine” for weekly rotating dishes.

Holiday Season 2012

Cocotte is a great place to celebrate the holidays.

Though we will be closed on Thanksgiving day, we will be open the following Friday for your post-Turkey-fest-fix!

We will be open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, & New Year’s Day.

Details about special menus will be released in the coming weeks, but rest assured it will be festive and delicious!

Paris in Portland; Tues 10/23

Cocotte is teaming up with the Portland French Alliance once again for a special “Paris in Portland” evening… Enjoy a truly Parisian experience with a menu inspired by classics paired with lovely French wines.

From the Alliance website:

Imagine that after you cross the threshold into the restaurant, all is in French: the menu, the reception, and the conversation with your tablemates – but without traveling to France.

Such is the ambiance of the “Paris in Portland” dining event. Tickets are now available to this multi-course prix-fixe dinner, including wine, on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Cocotte in NE Portland; $49 all-inclusive (cuisine, wine and gratuity).

Reservations are open to all – Alliance members will enjoy an additional perk (an authentic French apéritif to start the evening). Reserve online below or call our office at 503.223.8388 (reservations through the Alliance only).

Note: tabletop flags at the event will indicate diners’ choice of two table types: “French-only-spoken-here” and “mixed French and English speakers.”

Bastille Day with Alliance Française

We are extending our Happy Hour…

In order to celebrate our bar program, and the coming warm weather months, we are extending our happy hour to the following schedule:

Tues-Sat 4pm-6pm & 9pm-Close

All day Sunday!*

We are also extending the menu. The new menu will have more variety and price points (nothing above $10).

*no regular dinner service on Sundays

…And reserving brunches for special occasions!

Our brunch is truly fantastic, and is perfect for holidays & special occasions.

We will continue to provide outstanding brunch for celebratory occasions, about once every month.

For now, regular Sunday brunch will no longer be available. We hope to bring it back in the future!
